board of directors
Vincent DeLetto is the owner of a Real Estate Development and Construction company on Long Island, New York. He and his wife Laura are active members and leaders in their local church. They were married in 1983 and have four children.
Vinnie has been traveling internationally since 1988 and has been an initiator of many projects in various countries all over the world ever since. It was in 1989 that Vinnie became involved with People For Missions. The Houses of Hope story began when a team, including Vinnie, traveled to Guatemala with the intention of planting churches. Their hearts were broken for the greater need that they saw there: Children-abandoned, in crisis, and without homes. It quickly became clear to the team that the children needed to be rescued. As a result, Houses of Hope International was established. Houses of Hope purposes to provide a nurturing environment where the children gain a sense of unity in family. To this day, each House of Hope around the world accomplishes that, and more.
Vinnie’s knowledge of business management as well as his expertise in the construction industry has been instrumental in the running of this continually expanding organization. Twelve years ago Vinnie was appointed as an associate director of the PFM/HOHI. Then in 2007 Vinnie was honored to serve as the Executive Director.
Garry Havens has been associated with PFM/HOHI for about 16 years. He became an Associate Director about 12 years ago. Garry’s professional background covers a time span of 40 years in which he founded a private air traffic control company in 1978 after serving 9 years in the USAF as an air traffic controller. During his military service Garry completed a BA degree with a double major in business and economics, then two Masters degrees in business management and hospital administration. Garry had 3 employees when He started his business in 1978 and when he officially retired in 2008 the company employed over 750 people. Garry has considered HOHI his full time calling since coming on board 16 years ago. It was at that time that God led him to PFM/HOHI and audibly told him that he had raised him up to take care of abandoned children and that his financial blessings were for that purpose. Garry would tell anyone with certainty that HOHI is a God ordained ministry and he feels honored to be part of it.

As a local church pastor, Ralph's passion is to build up believers in the Word and activate them to minister within their circle of influence. He believes that each of us is called into ministry wherever we are planted! Ralph also has a heart and burden for people all over the world. He has traveled to Africa with H.I.M. since 1981 and continues to reach into Africa, Asia and Central America.
Building the Kingdom of God through ministry is the driving force behind Ralph's calling and planting campuses throughout Pittsburgh as well as ministry in other areas of the world. Biblical training and practical application is part of the strategy to see that vision come true. Seeing each person grow personally and then begin to reach their friends and family is the fulfillment of every aspect his ministry.
