From the inner city to unreached indigenous people groups, People for Missions has a long history in church planting. Extending an open hand to the impoverished and undereducated with the Gospel has been and still is an intricate part to PFM’s mission. We have confidence in the New Testament and its clear conviction about this specific purpose. PFM wants to see Christian community grow and the kingdom of God expand and flourish! We believe our strategy comes straight out of Acts 2:42, “They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.”
1. They continually devoted themselves to the disciples teaching therefore living a Christ-like life.
2. They partook in fellowship and understood the importance.
3. They honored the breaking of bread and acknowledged the purpose.
4. They were led to prayer and realized the power of Christ.
The world is separated by geography, culture, language, etc. Not every church plant looks the same and that is the beauty of cultural differences and expression. So far we have thriving churches in Guatemala, Ghana, Uganda, Cambodia, India, and Myanmar... and we will not stop there!
